These documents relate to a tenant problem that started 3/12/2022. Tenant was given 60 days notice to terminate our month to month agreement. Initially he acknowledged receipt of notice. Then he sent an odd response disputing the reason for termination as opposed to focusing on the fact no reason was required to terminate. He indicated he'd continue paying rent until the term was up and he told me to communicate via snail mail moving forward. As of 5/12/2022, tenant was still in the property, he was paying rent and he had failed to acknowledge any further emails. It's unclear if/when the term he was imagining was due to end. A Claim was filed for Tenant Holding Over (for Repossession of Property) Another is currently pending filing related to financial damages. A tremendous effort was put in prior to taking legal action to avoid permanent marks on the public, permanent, legal record. The faster the tenant moves out and makes an agreement for amends for financial damages, the lower those will be. (updated as of 5/31/2022)
